Permitted assistance
AI-assisted tools may help organize research, compare documents, transcribe interviews, summarize source material, draft questions, edit prose, generate code, explore design and improve accessibility. Outputs are working material, not evidence.
Verification and human review
Material factual claims, quotations, calculations, legal characterizations and investment terms must be checked against reliable sources. A human editor reviews publication context and remains responsible for accuracy, fairness and disclosure.
Prohibited uses
AI must not fabricate sources, quotations, interviews, firsthand observation, credentials, consensus or certainty. It must not be used to impersonate a real person deceptively, create undisclosed fake documentary evidence, or make autonomous personalized investment decisions for readers.
Synthetic media and labeling
Brand and illustrative imagery may be AI-generated. Material synthetic media should be labeled when a reasonable reader could mistake it for a real event, person, document or investment opportunity. The homepage’s social art is brand artwork, not a photograph of a real elevator or deal.
Sensitive material
Confidential pitch material, personal information, credentials and material nonpublic information should not be entered into external AI tools unless authorized and protected by appropriate controls. Public AI systems are not a substitute for secure source handling.
